DESCRIPTION:DEEP BLUE is a music ensemble specializing in private functions, club dates, restaurants, benefits or any other venue requiring tasteful, swinging instrumental music. Our objective is to provide a program of mainstream and contemporary jazz & blues designed to enhance clients' dining experience or special function(s).

DEEP BLUE has performed at a variety of venues throughout the Bow Valley and the Calgary area. Although our main focus is the jazz/blues genre, in terms of our "musical product" we are also able to offer a wide variety of musical services. Due to the versatility of our working group, as well as our long-standing connections within the musical community, we are able to provide the client with a tasteful, personalized musical package with the ability to accommodate nearly any request. For example, we have performed in such diverse venues as playing "funk/groove jazz" at Banff's Saltlik Restaurant/Bar, to classical, Jewish and contemporary piano/violin music for Jewish weddings. |
